Job summary

Downer is seeking Security Guards to support Stockland across multiple sites in NSW. The role involves patrolling premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents across rotating shifts including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Mandatory Certificate II in Security (or higher) and First Aid with CPR, plus Working with Children Check. You’ll work as part of a team to deliver safe, compliant services and maintain clear records.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring CCTV, alarms and access control systems.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to incidents and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and conduct patrols to ensure safety and security.
• Control site access and manage visitors, contractors and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide general assistance and maintain a visible, approachable presence.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards and maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with relevant services when required.

Job description

Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. This long-term partnership reflects Downer's strength in managing large, complex portfolios and delivering high quality services at scale.

We have an opportunity for Security Guards to join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stockland's national portfolio, with multiple positions available to support various sites across the area.

Roster flexibility is required, including availability to work a variety of rotating shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

What You'll Do
