Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Managed Cyber Services team in Australia. The role focuses on onboarding, managing and troubleshooting cybersecurity services, incident response, and maintaining compliant security operations across hybrid environments.

The candidate will work with Forcepoint, CheckPoint and Microsoft Defender ecosystems, and must hold security certifications, with Australian citizenship and police clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience working in IT/OT security operations for medium and/or large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding, management, and troubleshooting of cybersecurity services.
• Assist in high-priority incidents including infrastructure and security-related events.
• Ensure security services, policies, configurations and compliance meet industry best practices.
• Perform daily operational tasks to ensure SLAs are met and opportunities to automate are identified.
• Execute tasks to fulfill project requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with security technologies and AI-driven security tools.
• Liaise with vendors to provide advanced-level support.
