Job summary

DXC Technology Australia is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Network Engineering team. The role focuses on the design, implementation and operation of innovative network solutions for government accounts, with hybrid work arrangements.

You will deliver projects, mentor junior engineers, and manage incidents while coordinating with project managers. Some travel to client sites is required and on-site presence 2–3 days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in network engineering.
• Implementing Cisco data centre and enterprise networking technologies.
• Experience with ITILv3 service management framework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver network projects, including planning and rollout activities, with project managers.
• Act as a trusted technical authority for implementations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support during incidents.
• Communicate project status, risks and change requests to stakeholders.
• Travel to client locations and work 2–3 days per week on-site.
