Job summary

DXC Technology Inc. is seeking a SIEM Engineer to join our security technology team in Australia. You will manage and extend enterprise Splunk environments, onboard data sources, and tune detections to improve platform reliability and SOC readiness.

You’ll work with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud, develop SPL searches, dashboards and alerts, and collaborate with customers, vendors and internal teams. A flexible work model is encouraged while maintaining on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk Enterprise or Cloud deployments.
• Ability to onboard and parse security data sources.
• Strong SPL and SIEM knowledge.
• Experience with Windows, Linux and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud.
• Manage indexers, search heads, forwarders, apps and add-ons.
• Onboard and troubleshoot security data sources.
• Develop and tune SPL searches, alerts and dashboards.
• Support SOC teams with detection and investigation needs.
• Troubleshoot ingestion, search and platform performance issues.
• Integrate Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, EDR and identity data.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Participate in an on‑call roster.
