Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Managed Cyber Services in Australia. You will help onboard and manage cybersecurity services, respond to high-priority incidents, and ensure policy, configuration, and compliance alignment with global best practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams and external vendors. You will work with Forcepoint, CheckPoint NGFW, and Microsoft Defender in AWS/Azure environments, applying automation and IaC where possible to strengthen

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT/OT security operations experience in medium/large enterprises.
• Experience and knowledge in implementing, managing and troubleshooting key vendor technologies: Forcepoint Web Proxy, CheckPoint NGFW, Microsoft Defender.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and high-priority incident response.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, Microsoft AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CheckPoint CCSE.
• Understanding of OSI model and ability to troubleshoot network and security issues.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding, management, and troubleshooting of cybersecurity services.
• Assist in high-priority incidents across infrastructure and security domains.
• Ensure security services, policies, configurations, and compliance meet industry best practices.
• Execute daily operational tasks to meet SLAs and identify automation opportunities.
• Implement tasks to fulfill project requirements and security controls.
• Stay up-to-date with security technologies, trends, and AI-driven tools.
• Liaise with vendors and support teams for advanced issue resolution.
