Job summary

Vicinity Limited is seeking a Security Risk Manager for Colonnades Shopping Centre in Australia. You will lead security and emergency preparedness, coordinate with retailers and emergency services, and govern the performance of contracted security providers to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for shoppers and staff.

Essential experience includes 5+ years in security operations, strong incident management, and hands-on work with CCTV, access control, and incident systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in security operations or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, emergency response planning and modern security threat management practices.
• Experience working with CCTV platforms, access control systems and incident management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead security and emergency preparedness across Colonnades Shopping Centre, including training, scenario testing and incident response activities.
• Manage and influence the performance of the contracted security provider, ensuring compliance with operational standards, training requirements and service expectations.
• Oversee security incident reporting, investigations, trend analysis and corrective actions to support continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with retailers, Victoria Police, emergency services, community groups and other key stakeholders.
• Participate in the centre leadership roster, including a 6-and-4 roster pattern and acting as Chief Warden during rostered weekend coverage.
