Job summary

You will lead a sizable team responsible for building a secure, scalable data platform powering analytics, AI and cyber defence, and you will oversee the migration to a modern cloud data environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data engineering teams in a large enterprise.
• Experience delivering large-scale data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, modelling, integration and platform design.
• Experience with AWS data services and cloud-based data environments.
• Exposure to security analytics and cyber defence capabilities is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing data engineering team.
• Define and execute engineering strategy for security data platforms and products.
• Drive migration from legacy platforms to modern cloud data environment.
• Provide technical leadership across data architecture, modelling and integration.
• Oversee secure, scalable data pipelines and reusable data products.
• Promote automation, testing, observability, CI/CD and operational discipline.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and security specialists to translate requirements into solutions.
