Brisbane Airport Corporation seeks a Security Compliance & Quality Advisor to support BAC’s security compliance, audit and review programs, including security systems and physical security aspects at the airport.

The role focuses on promoting a culture of security compliance, maintaining regulatory alignment with S&EM requirements, and coordinating internal and external audits and QA activities with key partners.

Competenze

• Experience in aviation or protective security, particularly regulatory compliance.
• Formal certification in audit, risk or legal field; knowledge of risk assessment processes including CIP.
• Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

About the role

The Security Compliance & Quality Advisor is responsible for supporting the team in all aspects of BAC’s security compliance, audit and review programs and including that of BAC’s security systems, security equipment and physical security aspects.

The key deliverables in this role include:

• Promoting a strong culture of security compliance across BAC operations and with stakeholders
• Maintaining BAC’s regulatory compliance in line with Security & Emergency Management (S&EM) compliance management systems and regulatory requirements
• Tracking S&EM Division compliance audit and review program and undertaking associated activities
• Steering compliance with S&EM internal and external business partners and contractors by developing, Implementing, and undertaking internal quality assurance program activities, and
• Managing key stakeholder engagement with the airport community.

About you

You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in making a difference through doing great work.

You will have experience in aviation or protective security, particularly regulatory compliance. Ideally, you will have qualifications or formal certification in audit, risk or a legal field and knowledge of risk assessment processes, specifically security vulnerability and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP).
