Job summary

KBR Government Solutions in Alice Springs, Australia, seeks an experienced Operations Manager for Housing & Leasing Services to ensure continuous operation of furnished housing and local lease support for US government personnel.

You will oversee facilities management, budgeting, and cross-functional teams, maintain security clearances, and coordinate with government stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant housing services.

Qualifications

• A degree in Operations Management, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a similar Business related study
• Five (5) years of experience in Operations Management, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a similar Business related field
• Demonstrated analytical skills and programmatic planning, budgeting and oversite
• Demonstrated strong people management skills
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet short timelines
• Possess an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance or Host Nation NV-1 Clearance

Responsibilities

• Experience working facilities operations, and maintenance, and support services where continuous availability of facility infrastructure is essential and of the highest priority
• A degree in Operations Management, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a similar Business related study from an accredited college or university
• Five (5) years of experience working in Operations Management, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a similar Business related field, preferably on other Government-sponsored programs or facility management operations
• Demonstrated analytical skills and programmatic planning, budgeting and oversite
• Demonstrated strong people management skills
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet short timelines
• Holistic Integration: Champion cross-functional team efforts to deliver a synchronized service that addresses every angle of the Government’s requirements.
• Risk Management: Strategize and allocate funds for risk mitigation, safeguarding project outcomes
• Communication: Communicate effectively with all customers, and maintain a transparent and proactive dialogue with the Government, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution of issues.
• Customer Service: Demonstrate strong customer service skills
