Job summary

Accenture is expanding its technology and operations centre in Ballarat and seeks a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. The role emphasizes building scalable, secure, and resilient systems while supporting automation, performance tuning, and ongoing cloud operations.

The candidate will work with Azure, AWS, VMware, SaaS, and PaaS technologies, contribute to cloud governance, and collaborate with IT, security, and development teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, AWS, VMware, SaaS, or PaaS technologies.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization, networking, and security principles.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) and knowledge of automation tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, VMware, or relevant cloud platforms.
• Support the integration and management of SaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and development teams on cloud solutions and governance.
