Job summary

Accenture Ballarat is launching a technology and operations centre and seeks a Cloud Engineer to support design, deployment and ongoing management of cloud-based infrastructure and services. The role requires experience across Azure, AWS, SaaS or PaaS, with emphasis on scalable, secure systems and automation.

Australian citizens with active security clearance or eligible for clearance are preferred. You will work in a managed services environment, potentially on-call and in shifts, to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization, networking and security principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure, AWS, VMware or relevant platforms.
• Support the integration and management of SaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure using scripting and IaC tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with IT, security and development teams on cloud governance.
