Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia seeks a Domain Security Architect for Infrastructure & Networks in Sydney to shape cyber strategy and multi-year roadmaps for server, virtualization and network platforms. You will own security outcomes across data centre environments, balancing risk with operability and cost. The role partners with multiple teams to implement segmentation, secure admin patterns and regulatory-aligned controls. A CV with strong collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cyber security, technology risk or infrastructure security roles.
• Experience leading security architecture for infrastructure, networks, or enterprise domains.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust, segmentation and secure administration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security architecture for infrastructure and network platforms (servers, virtualization, network devices).
• Define and mature segmentation and zero trust network architecture across macro and micro-segmentation.
• Conduct security risk assessments, threat modelling and architecture reviews for infrastructure initiatives.
• Author and maintain security reference architectures, standards, and hardening guidelines.
• Collaborate with Vulnerability & Posture Management and Cyber Defence Operations to ensure secure configurations and detection coverage.
