Whizdom is seeking an experienced Security Architect to work within a major consulting environment, focusing on Security Solution Design for complex, multi-domain and international client engagements. You will translate security requirements into practical technical and business solutions, shaping integrated architectures across multiple domains.

Security Architect – Security Solution Design

About the Opportunity

An opportunity is available for an experienced Security Architect to work within a major consulting environment, supporting complex client engagements and solution pursuits.

The role focuses on Security Solution Design, helping shape integrated security architectures for complex, multi-domain and international environments. You will work closely with clients and engagement teams to translate security requirements into practical technical and business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design security solutions and define Security Subsystems and security solution architectures.
• Integrate security across technical and business solutions to provide appropriate protection for client environments.
• Evaluate and select hardware, software, process and service componentsfor complex integrated solutions.
• Work directly with clients to understand security needs and support solution and sales activities.
• Gather and analyse security requirements to inform solution design.
• Develop integrated security solutions for complex, multi-tower and cross-line-of-business environments.

Required Skills & Experience

You will bring demonstrated experience in:

• Security solution architecture and design, including implementing solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Defining Security Subsystems and integrating security across technical and business architectures.
• Assessing and selecting hardware, software, services and process components for complex solutions.
• Security requirements gathering and translating requirements into solution designs.
• Designing security solutions across complex, multi-domain and international environments.

Highly Desirable

• Strong cross-domain security knowledge and the ability to adapt architectures to varying client requirements.
• Advanced experience integrating security throughout technical and business solutions.
• Experience assessing solution components and deployment architectures in complex, competitive solution environments.
