Job summary

DeployPartners Pty Ltd. seeks multiple Data Centre Systems Engineers with NV1/NV2 clearance to support secure government and enterprise environments across on-site locations Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Windows/Linux, VMware, networking, firewalls, and automation (Ansible, GitHub, ServiceNow); you will work with cross-functional teams to meet security, performance and availability goals while documenting configurations for audits.

Qualifications

• NV1 or NV2 clearance (mandatory – no exceptions).
• 5+ years’ experience in data centre systems administration and infrastructure engineering.
• Operating Systems – Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Virtualisation – VMware ESXi, vSphere.
• Networking – routing, switching, load balancing (Cisco/Juniper/F5/others).
• Firewalls – configuration and administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, CheckPoint).
• Automation and integration tools: Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), GitHub, ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Algosec; strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Windows and Linux server infrastructure within secure environments.
• Operate and administer VMware virtualisation platforms in large‑scale data centre environments.
• Configure and maintain network routing, switching, and load balancing solutions.
• Implement, operate, and maintain firewall platforms and related network security devices.
• Support automation initiatives using Ansible, GitHub, and ServiceNow integration.
• Provide firewall policy analysis and optimisation using Algosec where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet security, performance and availability needs.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
• Document designs, configurations and operational processes for audits.
