Job summary

Northbridge IT Recruitment Propr invites applications for a Senior Cyber Security Architect role in Melbourne. You will partner with ICT, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud and Engineering to align technology solutions with the enterprise blueprint and embed Secure by Design across the organisation.

The position emphasizes AWS security with Azure exposure, and translating architecture standards into practical designs for ANZ. Hybrid onsite work with 4 days at the client site and surroundings.

Qualifications

• Must be Australian Citizen to gain Security Clearance.
• Strong Enterprise Architecture experience in large, complex environments.
• Excellent understanding of enterprise cyber security architecture and security principles.
• Deep cloud architecture and security experience across AWS with Azure exposure.
• Experience with enterprise blueprints, reference architectures, design patterns and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles and embedding them in ICT teams.
• DevSecOps knowledge and security in engineering and delivery practices.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies, AWS security services and Palo Alto technologies.
• Broad understanding of enterprise networking, identity and access management, M365 security and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define, adopt and embed Secure by Design principles and security architecture standards across ICT teams.
• Work with enterprise architecture blueprints and reference architectures to align with ANZ requirements and roadmaps.
• Review existing solution designs to ensure alignment with approved blueprints and security standards.
• Identify architecture gaps and remediation with technical teams.
• Develop reusable security architecture patterns across cloud, network, identity, M365 and security tooling.
• Provide security architecture guidance across AWS and Azure, focusing on AWS.
• Support secure cloud environments, landing zones, identity controls and network segmentation.
• Apply DevSecOps to embed security into design and delivery processes.
• Review designs with ICT and engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
