Job summary

Cache Group is seeking a Senior Security Architect to join a Melbourne-based program, embedded with a large enterprise client. This permanent role focuses on architecture assurance rather than hands-on build.

You will review designs, defend architecture decisions with senior stakeholders, and collaborate with other architects and security leadership to raise risk and resilience. Candidates should have 10+ years in security with senior architecture experience and strong cloud depth

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in security with senior‑level architecture experience.
Depth in at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Proven client‑facing experience with the ability to defend positions.
Ability to design and defend decisions under questioning.
Experience governing third‑party delivery is highly regarded.
Full, unrestricted right to work in Australia (PR or citizen).
SABSA/TOGAF/CISSP certifications are advantageous; proven experience counts more.

Responsibilities

Review security designs from delivery partners and challenge what does not hold up.
Set and defend security architecture decisions with senior stakeholders.
Confidently push back with the client when the design or the risk calls for it.
Work alongside other embedded architects and the client's security leadership.
Join a practice that grows senior architects into lead roles.
