Job summary

The Cache Group is seeking a Senior Security Architect in Melbourne to join a permanent role embedded with a major enterprise client. You will operate within the client’s cyber program, focusing on architecture assurance rather than hands-on delivery.

In this role you will review designs, defend decisions with senior stakeholders, and push back when risk dictates. This is a non-sales, governance-focused position with opportunities for growth alongside other architects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security with senior architecture experience.
• Depth in at least one of AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Client-facing experience with clear judgement.
• Ability to design and defend decisions under questioning.
• Experience governing third-party delivery is valued.

Responsibilities

• Review security designs from delivery partners and challenge weak points.
• Set and defend security architecture decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Push back when risk calls for it with the client.
• Collaborate with embedded architects and client security leadership.
• Join a pathway that grows senior architects into lead roles.
