AECOM’s NSW & ACT Impact Assessment and Permitting team seeks a Director-level Sector Manager to lead environmental approvals, ecology and heritage work across Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, shape strategic direction and build trusted client relationships to deliver complex infrastructure and development projects.

Competenze

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Ecology, Geography, Environmental Engineering, Social Impact, Heritage, Natural Resource Management or related discipline, with eligibility for professional accreditation.
• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary environmental, impact assessment, approvals or related consulting teams.
• Demonstrated people leadership capability with coaching, mentoring and talent development.
• Proven market-facing experience with client relationships, growth opportunities and winning work across government and private sector.
• Strong commercial and business leadership capability with governance, risk management and delivery of objectives.
• Experience leading through change while maintaining engagement and delivery excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence and build credibility.
• Strategic thinker with outcomes-focused mindset aligning people, clients, projects and business.
