Job summary

Spot On Ring Rolling is seeking a skilled Profile Bending / Sectional Ring Roller Operator to join the fabrication team in Braeside. You will set up, adjust and operate section rolling machines to bend structural steel profiles to precise specifications, reading drawings and production notes as required.

The ideal candidate has hands-on machine operation experience in heavy metal fabrication and can work autonomously with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Machine Operator or in heavy metal fabrication.
• Competence operating sectional rolling machines.

Spot On Ring Rolling is an established manufacturer base in Braeside, specialising in providing high-quality steel rings, flanges, and specialist steel forming and section rolling services to our customers.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Profile Bending / Sectional Ring Roller Operator to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating section rolling machines to bend structural steel profiles (angles, channels, beams, tubes, and pipes) to precise specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong structural fabrication background, understands material behaviour, and can work autonomously from engineering drawings.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Prior hands-on experience as a Machine Operator or in a heavy metal fabrication/manufacturing workshop.
• Competence or baseline experience operating sectional rolling machines.
• Familiarity working with structural steel profiles (angles, channels, box sections).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to read basic production notes or measurements.
• Reliable work ethic, physical stamina for factory environments, and a focus on maintaining workplace safety.
