• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Charlton Christian College is a K–12 co-educational Christian school located in Fassifern, Lake Macquarie. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centred education of excellence that empowers students to develop their God-given potential.

Due to continued growth, Charlton Christian College is seeking enthusiastic and suitably qualified Secondary Teachers to join our team in teaching roles across Years 7–12 commencing January 2027. We are seeking applications from Christian teachers with qualifications and recent teaching experience in one or more of the following areas: English, Drama, History & Geography, and PDHPE. Candidates with expertise across multiple subject areas are encouraged to apply.

0.8-1.0 FTE fixed-term opportunities are available for the 2027 school year.

Appointments will initially be offered on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of ongoing employment.

Applicants will demonstrate:

• A personal Christian faith, regular church attendance and willingness to support the College’s Statement of Faith.
• Understanding of, and commitment to, child safety in an educational setting.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check and NESA-recognised teaching qualifications and accreditation (or provisional registration).
• Ability to integrate a Christian perspective into curriculum and classroom practice.

Salary & Conditions

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement. Salary will be determined based on experience.
