Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications and appropriate teacher registration.
• Strong curriculum knowledge and teaching capability within their nominated learning area.
• A genuine passion for working with young adolescents and supporting their academic and personal development.
• The ability to create engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• A commitment to supporting the diverse learning and wellbeing needs of students.
• A willingness to contribute to pastoral care, co-curricular activities and the wider school community.
• The capacity to integrate Christian faith and values authentically into teaching practice and relationships.
• A sincere commitment to Jesus Christ, the philosophy of Christian Education and regular church attendance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) and relevant curriculum requirements.
• Design purposeful, inclusive and differentiated learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.
• Foster positive relationships with students, families and colleagues to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing.
• Provide pastoral care and contribute to a safe, connected and supportive learning environment.
• Support the diverse academic, social, emotional and spiritual needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and learning programs.
• Contribute positively to the wider life, culture and Christian ethos of the School.
