Job summary

Trinity Grammar School Summer Hill invites applications for an enthusiastic teacher to join the Technologies and Applied Studies (TAS) Faculty on a permanent full-time basis. Experience teaching Engineering Technology and Engineering Studies is valued, with opportunities across TAS disciplines and elective short courses.

The successful candidate will teach Stages 4–6, foster inquiry-based learning, and contribute to a broad school program including sport and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualifications in Education, TAS or related discipline.
• Current NESA accreditation.
• NSW Working With Children Check required.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain before commencement).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Stages 4 to 6 in TAS disciplines.
• Create engaging learning experiences to encourage curiosity and lifelong learning.
• Contribute to TAS subjects including Mandatory Technology, Design and Technology, Design Education.
• Design and teach short courses in specialist areas (e.g., product design, digital fabrication, robotics).

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to join our dynamic Technologies and Applied Studies (TAS) Faculty in a permanent full-time role. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience teaching Engineering Technology and Engineering Studies, although expertise across a broader range of TAS subjects will be highly regarded.

Remuneration is paid in accordance with the Trinity Grammar School Teachers Agreement 2025 and is dependent on qualifications, experience and NESA accreditation level. Current salary range: $95,500 to $141,000.
