Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) invites applications for a part- or full-time fixed-term teaching role in Music commencing in 2027. The position may cover parental leave and could extend to a full-time role if combined with teaching other subjects.

Provide a current Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) prior to commencement.
Provide an Australian Police Check prior to commencement. If applying from overseas, an international police check is required.
The School is seeking a passionate and professional individual to teach Music (potentially alongside other subjects). This is a part or full-time, fixed term position to cover parental leave, commencing in 2027.
There is also the possibility of this position contributing to the Music Academy cocurricular program, depending on skills and experience in addition to contributing to ensembles.
An ability to inspire students through engaging and intellectually challenging teaching is essential. Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum, the International Baccalaureate (MYP and/or DP), and the BSSS (Board of Senior Secondary Studies) programmes will be highly regarded.
