Job summary

Parks Victoria is seeking a dedicated Ranger based in Mildura to manage parks, reserves and public land across the Mildura area. You will deliver hands-on conservation works, visitor management, asset maintenance and stakeholder engagement in a diverse, field-based role.

This position offers extensive on-site training, collaboration with Traditional Owners and community groups, and opportunities to develop machinery operation skills while protecting natural and cultural heritage across North

Qualifications

Experience working in parks, conservation or related field.
Hands-on operational skills with safety focus.
Experience maintaining visitor facilities, infrastructure and assets.
Ability to work in remote environments with diverse stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications in environmental science or related trades.

Responsibilities

Deliver operational programs including visitor management, conservation works, asset maintenance, cultural heritage protection, compliance and emergency response.
Coordinate on-ground works such as road and track maintenance, facility inspections, pest control, environmental restoration and stakeholder engagement.
Contribute to emergency management functions including bushfire and flood response.
