Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Baw Baw Outdoor Pools to help lead the Duty Manager and Lifeguard team, support recruitment and onboarding, and oversee training, rostering and timesheets. You will ensure operations align with contractual requirements, safety standards and asset management. The role includes budgeting and reporting across six sites.

The position is full-time with an hourly rate up to $35.48 plus super, based in Warragul and surrounding centres.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years leadership experience in aquatic facility operations.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to inspire our duty manager team.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Understanding of risk management practices and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of the Duty Manager and Lifeguard Team.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and rostering; timesheets.
• Ensure daily operations meet contractual requirements, quality systems and industry guidelines.
• Oversee Health & Safety, Risk and Environment with support from the Aquatics Safety Coordinator.
• Manage facility maintenance, asset management, contractor relationships; budgets and reporting.
