Fresh Island Seafood (FISHI) – Cannonvale QLD is seeking a Seafood Process Worker / Fish Fillet­ter / Knife Hand to join our busy filleting team. On-the-job training will be provided; experience in fish filleting is an advantage.

You will work in a friendly, supportive team and have opportunities to grow within our family‑owned business. Responsibilities include scaling, skinning, deboning, filleting, portioning, packing, weighing and equipment maintenance, with occasional delivery driving.

Qualifications

• Experience with fish filleting is an advantage.
• On-the-job training provided for the right candidate.
• Reliable and motivated with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Filleting, scaling, skinning and deboning of fish as part of the filleting team.
• Portioning, packing, weighing and cleaning of equipment and work area.
• Maintenance of equipment and delivery driving as required.

We are looking to hire a fish filleter/knife hand to join our busy filleting team located at our Cannonvale store. Duties will include but not be limited to. Scaling, Skinning, Deboning, Filleting, Portioning, Packing, Weighing, Cleaning and Maintenance of Equipment & Delivery Driving.

Experience with fish filleting is an advantage however “on the job” training will be given to the right person.
