Job summary

Transport for NSW invites applications for an Associate Project Manager- Tech Delivery on a temporary fixed-term full-time basis through June 2028, based at South Eveleigh, NSW. You will lead technology delivery initiatives across engineering, architecture, cyber security, data, testing, and delivery partners to turn requirements into successful outcomes.

• Experience delivering complex technology initiatives with engineers, architects, cyber, data, testing, vendors and other technical specialists.
• Strong project delivery fundamentals across planning, governance, risk, dependencies and vendor management.
• Excellent communication to translate technical complexity into clear decisions for technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Able to navigate ambiguity, influence across teams and maintain delivery momentum in complex environments.

• You’ll proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies, providing clear and meaningful reporting and insights to support timely decisions and maintain delivery momentum.

About you

• You’re an experienced technology delivery professional who enjoys bringing together people, technology and delivery to achieve outcomes.
• You have experience delivering complex technology initiatives and can engage confidently with engineers, architects, cyber security, data, testing, vendors and other technical specialists.
• You bring strong project delivery fundamentals across planning, governance, risk, dependency and vendor management, and know how to create structure and maintain momentum in complex delivery environments.
• You’re a strong communicator who can translate technical complexity into clear decisions, actions and outcomes, whether working with technical teams or senior stakeholders.
• You’re a pragmatic problem solver who takes ownership, navigates ambiguity, influences across teams and stays focused on getting technology delivered successfully.
