Qualifications

BLACKROC | General Manager - Recruitment Services

A large federal government organisation is undertaking a significant technology uplift to deliver modern, fit‑for‑purpose digital solutions. An experienced EL1‑equivalent Scrum Master is required to support delivery within a complex, enterprise‑scale ICT environment, with a strong focus on Salesforce‑based platforms.

As the Scrum Master, you will act as a leader within an Agile delivery environment, supporting squads to deliver high‑quality outcomes while embedding best‑practice Agile and DevOps ways of working. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and release leadership to drive consistent, predictable delivery across Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives
• Contribute to broader release and program increment activities as directed by release leadership
• Act as a servant leader, mentoring squads to improve maturity, delivery capability and team performance
• Manage and maintain squad delivery backlogs, supporting sprint and release planning
• Identify and remove blockers, escalating risks and issues where required
• Support the implementation of CI/CD, Agile and DevOps practices in a maturing environment
• Build strong working relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders and delivery partners
• Promote continuous improvement, constructive feedback and sustainable delivery practices

Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years’ ICT industry experience in a technical leadership role with strong knowledge of Agile, SAFe SDLC and end‑to‑end software delivery
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master delivering Salesforce‑based solutions
• Proven experience coaching teams in Agile methodologies, tools and practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead by example
• Demonstrated capability in facilitation, conflict resolution and continuous improvement
• An interest in accessibility and inclusive digital design, with enthusiasm for accessible development practices
