Job summary

CMC Markets ANZ is seeking a Scrip Operations Executive on a 3 or 6-month contract. You will apply senior operational and technical expertise across CHESS settlements and corporate actions to ensure timely, accurate post-trade delivery of domestic equity and derivatives.

You will act as SME across settlements, transfers and collateral, guiding stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain service quality in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Stockbroking experience with equity and options processing.
• Practical knowledge of ASX CHESS rules and compliance.
• Experience with corporate actions and post-trade activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior operational and technical support to the Scrip Operations Manager.
• Ensure accurate, timely delivery of domestic equity and derivatives post-trade activities.
• Act as SME across CHESS settlements, corporate actions, transfers, options collateral.
• Escalate issues and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain service delivery.

What You’ll Be Working On

The Scrip Operations Executive Associate role provides senior operational and technical support to the Scrip Operations Manager, with responsibility for the accurate, timely and controlled delivery of domestic equity and derivatives in the delivery of domestic equity and derivatives post-trade activities.

The role acts as a key operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) across CHESS settlements, corporate actions, transfers, options collateral and related Scrip Operations processes. The position provides guidance and support on complex operational matters, acts as an escalation point for the team and works with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain effective service delivery.

What Type Of Person Will Be Successful

You'll thrive in this role if you have stockbroking industry experience with equity and options processing, combined with practical knowledge of ASX rules and CHESS compliance requirements. Your background in handling corporate actions and post-trade activities has given you confidence working with various stakeholders and interfaces.

Key requirements beneficial to the role include:

• Prior Stockbroking industry experience with equity and /or options processing.
• Familiar with ASX rules and compliance requirements for CHESS sponsored and processes.
• Knowledge of CHESS market obligations and regulations.
• Proficiency in handling corporate actions and other post-trade activities.
• Ability to work with various stakeholders and interfaces.
