Job summary

Brunel is seeking Scraper & Final Trim operators for the Haul Roads Project in Weipa, Far North Queensland, on a 2/1 day shift roster. The role requires proficiency with scrapers (627/637 or similar) and additional machine skills to support a fast-paced civil earthworks environment.

Key responsibilities include operating scraper equipment, final trim on grader/dozer/excavator, multi-skill support, maintaining safety/quality targets, and using GPS systems on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating scrapers (627, 637 or similar) on civil or mining projects.
• Proven experience as a final trim operator on Excavator, Dozer or Grader.
• Relevant RII tickets and a valid driver's licence.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen.
• Strong commitment to site safety and teamwork.

• Operate scraper equipment efficiently for bulk earthworks and haul road construction.
• Final Trim for Grader, Dozer or Excavator
• Assist with other machinery as required (multi-skilling advantage).
