Job summary

Victorian Government is seeking a Scoping and Development Officer based in Geelong to coordinate design packages for upcoming construction projects across the DTP road network.

You will work with senior engineers to review designs, ensure alignment with engineering standards and best practice, and help keep projects well scoped, feasible and documented in line with DTP frameworks.

• Degree qualified in Engineering (desirable)

About the role

The role is based in Geelong. The Scoping and Development Officer coordinates design packages for upcoming construction projects across the DTP road network. The role involves civil design, managing external consultants and working with senior engineers to review designs against engineering standards, technical guidelines and best practice.

The role ensures projects are well scoped, feasible, costed and documented in line with DTP frameworks and requirements. It also considers stakeholder needs, contributes effectively to the design team and supports safe, inclusive and flexible ways of working, while developing engineering skills with guidance from senior team members.
