Job summary

TAFE NSW in Sydney is seeking a Technical Officer (Scientific) to provide specialist technical and laboratory support across science education and training programs. You will help maintain laboratories, equipment and learning resources to support teaching and learning activities.

The role requires a Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent), strong organisation, inventory management, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• To be successful, hold a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent skills/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute scientific equipment and resources.
• Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment.
• Manage consumables and inventory.
• Assist with calibration and servicing of equipment.
• Set up practical learning environments and ensure safety compliance.
