Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a Technical Officer (Scientific) to provide specialist technical and laboratory support across science-based education and training programmes. You will ensure laboratories, equipment and learning resources are maintained to a high standard and available to support teaching.

You will prepare and distribute scientific equipment, manage consumables, support servicing and calibration, and help set up practical learning environments while upholding safety and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Diploma, advanced diploma or associate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with scientific equipment, laboratory resources or technical facilities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute scientific equipment and resources.
