Job summary

Trinity Catholic College Goulburn is seeking a part-time Science Laboratory Assistant to join the dynamic science faculty. You will support classroom teachers, enable student access to the curriculum, and provide specialist technical advice and assistance.

This role involves working with children in a Catholic education setting, with accreditation and WWCC requirements. The college offers a supportive environment, professional development opportunities, and a commitment to equity and excellence

Qualifications

• NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Certificate III in School-Based Education Support or Laboratory Techniques; current enrolment in an ITE university program; or experience as a Classroom and Learning Support Assistant
• Accreditation in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy

Responsibilities

• Support science classroom teachers to ensure students can access the curriculum and participate in activities
• Provide specialist technical advice, direction, and assistance in the science labs
