St Patrick’s College for Girls, Campbelltown, seeks a passionate Science Teacher for Years 7–12 on a temporary fixed-term contract commencing Week 1 of Term 1, 2027 and concluding at end of Term 4, 2027. Teach across years 7–12, with biology ability, contributing to academic, pastoral and co-curricular life.

You will be an enthusiastic educator committed to academic excellence, student growth and Catholic education. NSW WWCC and NESA accreditation (or eligibility) essential.

Qualifications

  • Must hold qualifications and accreditation to teach Science in NSW secondary schools.
  • Experience teaching Science across secondary year levels.
  • Commitment to Catholic education ethos and values.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • NESA Accreditation (or eligibility to obtain).

St Patrick’s College for Girls, Campbelltown, is an independent Catholic school of Good Samaritan Education, dedicated to the education of young women in Years 7–12. About the Role


St Patrick’s College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive teaching team.


This is a temporary fixed-term contract position commencing in Week 1 of Term 1, 2027 and concluding at the end of Term 4, 2027. The successful applicant will be required to teach Science across Years 7–12, With an ability to teach biology and contribute positively to the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College.


Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:



  • Uphold the mission, values and Child Protection commitments of the College.

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science programs across Years 7–12

  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing

  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment programs in collaboration with faculty colleagues

  • Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students

  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress in accordance with college requirements

  • Foster students' literacy, critical thinking and communication skills

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, Year Coordinators and Learning Support staff

  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding student learning and wellbeing

  • Support the pastoral care, co-curricular and community life of the College

  • Participate in professional learning and ongoing curriculum development initiatives
