Job summary

Marian Catholic College Griffith in Griffith, NSW, seeks a Key Learning Area Leader to oversee curriculum, pedagogy and assessment across a designated faculty. You will lead a team of teachers, mentor staff and manage resources while upholding the Catholic tradition and College vision.

The role combines leadership with teaching responsibilities within a dynamic secondary school environment, commencing 28 January 2027.

Qualifications

• An understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.
• Appropriate qualifications and demonstrated experience as a highly effective and flexible classroom practitioner.
• An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy.
• The capacity to lead and professionally develop staff in subject area development, Positive Behavior Support and restorative practices, use of technology to support learning and other aspects of contemporary education.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum, pedagogy and assessment in a designated key learning area.
• Oversee faculty programming, teacher mentorship and professional development.
