Job summary

Challenger Security is seeking a Security Manager to lead the day-to-day security operation of a school site on a hybrid schedule at Maroubra, NSW. This full-time permanent role focuses on management, compliance, training and frontline guarding duties.

You will oversee SOPs, rostering, incident management and reporting, while personally supervising the main access point during morning and afternoon periods, ensuring the safety of students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A) is required.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience supervising or managing security operations.
• Experience developing SOPs, post orders and documentation.
• Sound knowledge of WHS and NSW licencing requirements; firearms licences desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day security operation and act as the client contact.
• Lead rostering, training, compliance and performance of site security staff.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, post orders and emergency procedures.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations and audits.
• Monitor licensing (WWCC) and WHS compliance.
• Staff the main access point during morning and afternoon periods.
• Supervise frontline guarding and maintain professional presence.
