Job summary

Challenger Security is seeking an experienced, licenced security professional to manage the day-to-day security operation of a school site, combining security management, compliance, training and administration with frontline guarding duties.

You’ll oversee SOPs, rostering, training, incident management, compliance and reporting, while personally managing the main access point during morning arrival and afternoon departure periods.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A minimum).
• Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC), or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Demonstrated experience in security supervision or management.
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, post orders and operational documentation.
• Sound knowledge of WHS and NSW security licencing requirements.
• Class 1F licence and CAT H firearms licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day security operation of the school site and act as the key security contact for the client.
• Lead rostering, training, compliance and performance of the site security team.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, post orders and emergency response procedures.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, compliance checks and operational reporting.
• Monitor licensing, WWCC and WHS requirements and support audits.
• Personally staff the main access point during peak periods.
