Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a $10M early works expansion and refurbishment of a school in NSW. You will oversee the full project lifecycle, maintaining client relationships and coordinating trades in a live educational environment.

We require 3+ years with an Australian head contractor, a Carpentry or Joinery trade qualification, and strong leadership and communication under pressure. A positive, results-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Site Manager or Senior Foreman with an Australian Head Contractor.
• Experience delivering Education, Aged Care, Medical or complex refurbishments in Australia is highly regarded.
• Carpentry or Joinery trade qualification is essential.
• Strong leadership, communication and professional presence under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Drive project lifecycle from site establishment through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate all trade contractors, ensure safety, layouts and specifications alignment.
• Develop construction programs and perform site inspections per BCA standards.
• Champion OH&S on site, maintain meticulous documentation and daily reports.
• Act as on-site client liaison and proactive issue resolution to mitigate risk.
