Job summary

St Thomas More College, Sunnybank, is seeking a dedicated School Officer (Classroom Support) to assist teachers and students across the College. You will help create an inclusive learning environment, support student participation, wellbeing and achievement, and collaborate with teaching staff to implement effective learning programs.

The role requires planning and delivery of teaching activities, monitoring student progress, and coordinating interventions with specialists.

Qualifications

• Strong planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs.
• Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions.
• Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups.
• Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials.

Responsibilities
