Job summary

Mother of Good Counsel School, North Cairns, part of Catholic Education Cairns, seeks School Learning Officers to maximise student learning outcomes by supporting teachers in delivering targeted learning programs. The role involves working with students in small groups or one-to-one settings and aligning with the school’s Mercy-inspired, child-safe ethos.

Three positions are available, Term Time, Fixed Term, 20–27.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Working with Children Blue Card is required.
• Fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.

Responsibilities

• Assist Teachers in delivering learning programs in small group and/or 1:1 settings.
• Support students to maximise educational outcomes.
