Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is hiring an OSHC Holiday HQ Educator to work at our Preston service during school holidays, building relationships with families and children, and engaging them in play and crafts.

Your shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:00am–6:00pm over the holiday period, with excursions and activities that support development, empathy, and teamwork. Competitive hourly pay and supportive training accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with children.
• Team player with willingness to grow.
• Hold or obtain a national police check (covered by us).
• State Working-with-Children check.
• National Child Safety Training completed prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• VIC Certificate-Level Educator qualification or equivalent (ACECQA).

Responsibilities

• Build ongoing relationships with families, children, and school communities.
• Assist during school holiday program at Preston service.
• Facilitate activities and excursions such as Melbourne Show or cinema.
• Support a safe, engaging, and inclusive play-based environment.

Job Description

As an OSHC Holiday HQ Educator, you’ll work primarily at our service in Preston during the school holidays. You will be buildingongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. As part of our holiday HQ program your day might include an excursion to the Melbourne Show, or the cinema or, encouraging paly through hearts and crafts.

Your shifts will be Monday - Friday 7:00am to 6:00pm throughout the holiday period.
