Reporting to the Dean of Students, you will lead the health services across the school, manage nursing staff, oversee student records and governance, coordinate vaccines and wellbeing initiatives, and ensure compliant practices in a

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Proven leadership or management experience within a healthcare setting
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Experience managing staff, budgets and operational functions
• Collaborative, relationship-focused approach with the school community

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a team of nursing professionals
• Oversee student health records, care plans and clinical governance
• Coordinate health services for day and boarding students
• Provide emergency first aid and clinical assessment when required
• Manage medication processes, including Schedule 8 medications
• Coordinate vaccinations, wellbeing initiatives and nursing staff to attend school camps
• Manage rostering, budgets and operational requirements of the health centre
• Liaise with parents, medical specialists, allied health providers and school stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with child safeguarding and healthcare standards.
