Job summary

The Department of Education in Western Australia is implementing TechnologyOne CiA FMIS across public schools. The Finance Consultant School Systems will support the implementation, transition and ongoing operation of the FMIS, ensuring functionality and processes meet requirements.

Based in East Perth, this fixed-term full-time role runs November 2026 to December 2027 with potential extension. It requires strong analytical skills, finance knowledge and collaboration with project teams, vendors

Qualifications

• Experience with financial management information systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and data migration processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist functional and systems support for FMIS implementation.
• Perform system analysis, configuration assessments and troubleshooting of complex issues.
• Contribute to data conversion, chart of accounts alignment and system integration.
• Support user acceptance testing, defect management and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement system controls, processes and supporting documentation.
