Job summary

University of the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Systems Analyst in the Financial Services team to support and enhance financial systems, with a focus on TechnologyOne CiA. You will work with Finance, IT and stakeholders to resolve issues, improve workflows and strengthen financial controls.

The ideal candidate has a degree with several years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a collaborative approach to deliver reliable, efficient financial systems across the University.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree with at least four years of subsequent relevant experience, extensive relevant specialist experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience administering and supporting enterprise financial systems, including TechnologyOne CiA, with knowledge of financial controls, data integrity and compliance requirements.
• Advanced systems capability, including experience with financial applications, databases, reporting and data extraction tools, and Microsoft applications.
• Experience analysing business requirements and implementing financial system and process improvements, including workflows, automation, integrations, ETL and reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of financial governance, internal controls, accounting and audit requirements.
• Well-developed communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts, support users, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and enhance financial systems, including TechnologyOne CiA, workflows, integrations, reporting and system controls, to support reliable operations and financial data integrity.
• Analyse business requirements, troubleshoot system issues and implement improvements to financial processes, including automation, reporting and system enhancements; and
• Collaborate with Financial Services, Information Technology and University stakeholders to test and implement system changes, strengthen financial controls, and support user capability and continuous improvement.

Education
