Job summary

Corinda State High School in Brisbane is seeking a Marketing and Events Officer to help develop innovative marketing and communication strategies and coordinate school events for the wider school community.

You will plan and deliver events such as awards nights, ANZAC Day, graduations, open days, study tours and enrolment information sessions, while managing publications, the website and the school's social media to boost engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate school events, including awards nights, ANZAC Day, graduation ceremonies, open days, study tours and enrolment information sessions, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Oversee the creation of school publications, newsletters and promotional materials, while maintaining accurate and current information on the school website.
• Manage the school's online and social media presence to promote school activities, share updates and engage effectively with the wider community.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with staff, alumni, local media, industry partners and other external stakeholders to strengthen school promotion and community partnerships.
• Contribute to the development and review of marketing plans, budgets, strategies and procedures, and share approved positive school stories with the media and local community.
