Toolooa State High School is seeking a Marketing Officer to join the team. You will plan, coordinate and deliver school programs, major events and community initiatives that showcase our school spirit and reflect our values of Respect, Achievement and Responsibility.

Working with the Business Manager, Principal and leadership team, you will coordinate events, manage communications and engage stakeholders to enhance school visibility and community connections.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or Digital Media.
• High degree of initiative and organisational capability.
• Sound judgement and accountability with ability to coordinate multiple priorities, manage resources and deliver school operations.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate the planning, organisation and delivery of major school events.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual school events calendar.
• Oversee event logistics including venues, catering, invitations and registrations.
• Develop event procedures, checklists, timelines and evaluation processes.
• Coordinate event budgets with the Business Manager and budget holders.
• Identify and manage operational risks and safety arrangements.
• Review event effectiveness and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and engagement.
• Draft and publish communications to promote the school, including newsletters, brochures and handbooks.
• Manage content for social media platforms and the school website.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Business Manager or Principal.
