Transport for NSW is seeking a School Crossing Supervisor for Santa Maria Del Monte Primary School in Strathfield on a part-time basis. The role focuses on keeping children safe while you work as a trusted, community-facing presence during peak school hours.

You will work 20 hours per fortnight across the morning and afternoon school zones, with an hourly rate and superannuation. Training and checks are provided, and the role supports local families and road safety.

• Shifts fall between 8:00AM–9:00AM and 2:45PM–3:45PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon; 20 hours per fortnight.
• Receive an hourly rate with superannuation and holiday pay during Terms 1–3.

Santa Maria Del Monte Primary School - Strathfield shifts fall between the school zone hours of 8:00AM - 9:00AM and 2:45PM - 3:45PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. School Crossings require 20 hours of supervising per fortnight.

You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation, and you will also be compensated during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.

You're a community minded person who would like to contribute.

You'd get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy.

You're reliable and prepared to show up for your community - in good or bad weather.

You’ll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. And one more thing! As you'll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. Don't worry if you haven't done this before, we will help you through the process! If you already have a Working with Children Check, that's fantastic as that will speed up the process.
