A certified professional collaborates with staff to provide specialised support. Requirements include registration with QCT for teachers or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or AASW for non-teachers,

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications at Degree level in Education Psychology or Social Work.
• Relevant post-graduate experience.
• Be registered or eligible to be registered with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) if Teacher-qualified.
• Working with Children Blue Card for non-teacher applicants.

• Foster development, mental health and resilience of all students.
• Apply guidance and counselling through direct and indirect processes and interventions.
