Catholic Education Cairns invites applications for a School Counsellor at MacKillop Catholic College, Mt Peter. The role focuses on student mental health, resilience and inclusive education, working in partnership with staff to provide direct and indirect guidance and targeted interventions.

The successful candidate will be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers if teaching, or hold a Working With Children Blue Card if non-teacher, with formal qualifications in Education Psychology

Competenze

• Must be registered with Queensland College of Teachers if teaching.
• If non-teacher, must hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
• Formal qualifications in Education Psychology or Social Work with relevant postgraduate experience.
• Guidance Counsellors require QCT & QGCA registration or AHPRA/ AASW membership.
• Non-teachers require AHPRA registration or AASW membership.
